About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Test Manager to join a Federal Government client to oversee testing activities across complex ICT projects. This is an SFIA Level 5 role where you'll develop testing strategies, coordinate test activities across multiple streams, and drive quality assurance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse detailed project business requirements to develop testing strategies and plans
• Oversee and coordinate the conduct of test activities across multiple streams
• Prepare and submit comprehensive test reports describing testing outcomes
• Undertake QA activities and review documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to drive efficiencies across processes and documentation

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Proven experience in developing and implementing testing strategies and plans
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate test activities across multiple streams
• Expertise in preparing detailed test reports and communicating outcomes
• Quality assurance experience, including documentation review
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
• Experience in process improvement and efficiency initiatives

Desirable:

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent certification
• Agile testing certifications (e.g., ICAgile, SAFe Agile Testing)
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience working in hybrid teams across multiple locations
• Federal Government experience
