About us:
Eventide Home is an 80-bed residential aged care facility, located in Rockhampton. To create a home like environment for residents, the facility actively encourages family to participate in resident activities and care planning. The facility boasts spacious gardens, under cover safe walking promenades with shady seating, an inter denominational chapel, hairdresser and concert hall. The facility is made up of 3 units – Courts, Lodges and Banksia - the administration unit.
About the role:
The primary purpose of the role is to support the management team in advocating for and providing expert advice to Eventide Home Rockhampton on patient safety, risk and quality improvement to meet the business unit's strategic and operational objectives, Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services (CQHHS) Quality, Safety and Risk strategic priorities and The National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS), Aged Care Quality Standards, Disability Standards and other relevant quality standards. Assist the Nurse Unit Manager's (NUM) to implement and monitor the organisation's clinical audits standards; policy and procedure programs and quality improvement across the CQHHS and fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service (QPS) as outlined above while upholding CQHHS values.
About you:
- Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.
- A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is desirable.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $10,992 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
