Our Opportunity
We are searching for our next Manager Client Services and Community to join our team. This role supports, oversees, leads and develops Client Services & Community Programs to deliver high quality client outcomes. Direct reports to this role include Team Leaders with program responsibility. The Client Services & Community Team is made up of several programs including: Client Services (Intake & Reception), Financial Counselling, Gamblers Help, Housing & Homelessness and Q Hub. The diverse grouping responds to clients with a range of complex needs and supports clients at intake right through to service delivery with the many supportive community programs at Cafs.
About You
As an experienced Manager, you will be driven by innovative ways of working and building upon existing strategies and frameworks. You will have experience leading teams of experts to provide best in class service delivery. You will hold demonstrated experience working closely with Leadership teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation within your work area.
Skills & Attributes
- Management Experience
- Bachelor degree or above in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology or other relevant field.
- Ability to implement systems and lead teams to take proactive approaches to problem solving, seeking opportunities to design innovative solutions, recognising the wider business context
- Experience in leading operational and strategic risk management activities, establishing, reviewing creating risk management frameworks which support risk mitigation

Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is an independent community service organisation based in Ballarat for over 160 years. We provide over 50 programs across a range of service areas providing care for clients within communities across the central highland region.
