While we’re best known for our 18 rotating taps of independent craft beer and 200+ cold-stored beers, The Hop Shop is much more than just a beer bar. Our drinks offering includes freshly made cocktails, curated wines, and quality spirits, all served with genuine care and attention to detail.

Our in-house kitchen is home to one of Melbourne’s original and most authentic Mexican offerings, serving up vibrant, flavour packed dishes that perfectly complement our drinks.

About The Role

We’re looking for casual bar staff who bring positive energy to the team and deliver exceptional service.

Your day-to-day will include:

Pouring beers, mixing drinks, and serving customers with confidence and care

Taking food orders and assisting with table service

Maintaining venue cleanliness and presentation standards

Creating a warm, friendly, and memorable atmosphere for every guest

No craft beer experience? No problem — we’ll teach you everything you need to know! Passion and enthusiasm count most.

About You

You’re energetic, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

You have great communication and people skills

Minimum one year of hospitality experience (bar or floor)

You take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a team

You’re over 18 and have (or can obtain) a valid RSA
