1. The Duty Manager will work out of our venues at Orrong Park and/or Malvern Tennis Centre and will be employed on a casual basis. Rosters will involve evening and weekend work.

2. Oversee the venue and assist with various facility management tasks to ensure our venues are always well presented, clean and safe.

3. Assist in handling with incoming enquiries, either in person, by email or phone, as outlined in the Operations Manual.

4. The Duty Manager will be expected to have sufficient maturity and initiative to work without supervision, meet deadlines and be a natural problem solver.

5. A current First Aid qualification and working with children registration is essential for this role.

6. An interest in tennis and sport is essential for this role plus someone who delights in providing friendly customer service.

7. Reasonable computer literacy together with competent written English language skills is an essential component of this role.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have the following:

Experience in a similar high paced working environment and in working with all ages and abilities.

Computer literacy is essential for this role.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to develop collaborative relationships with all our key stakeholder groups.

Preparedness to be flexible with regard to working hours particularly during peak times and events.

Driven to work independently without much supervision, meet deadlines and be a natural problem solver.

An interest in tennis and sport is essential for this role.
