Based in Caringbah Sydney, Cuisine Corp Australia is one of the largest manufactures of handmade gourmet finger food in Australia. Our customers include 5-star hotels, caterers, government catering venues, sporting arenas, convention centres, airlines, restaurants, clubs, cafés, supermarkets etc.

We are looking for a production leader, a manager who's prepared to roll up their sleeves and be hands-on when required. Someone who takes pride in everything they do, knows how to get the best out of their team and can work well in a fast-paced environment.

You'll take ownership of the production facility, and your role will include but is not limited to

Day to day running of the bakery/production facility, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently with production targets met and that all staff are clear of the end state.

Coaching and developing team members by building accountability, clarity, and confidence with the team.

Driving consistency in quality, food safety and the presentation across all products at its highest level (a sound understanding of a minimum of HACCP certification is required, however SQF standards would be looked upon favourably).

Managing labour and workflow against daily volume, to include rosters and allocation of staff to correct production areas (high level of computer literacy would be required).

Good understanding of COG's, budgets and wastage.

Troubleshooting and removing real-time production bottlenecks while keeping the production flowing.

About you

Proven leadership skills, (The natural leader, who keeps calm and shares that with the rest of the team) as well as people and performance management experience.

The ability to positively influence those around you, bringing energy and drive to the team every day.

5 years or more within the food manufacturing industry leading fast paced teams (Management of large-scale bakery & savoury products a key advantage).

Ideally degree educated in Engineering, Manufacturing or Technology but not essential if you have the right background.

Understanding of multi-functional production environment.
