The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our passionate Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s cash flow by overseeing the invoicing, debt collection, and reconciliation functions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring sound cash flow

Your responsibilities include and not limited to:

Prepare and issue debtors invoices

Generate reports on ageing debtors and assisting with cash flow forecasts

Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding payments

Responding to client and stakeholders' queries in a professional and efficient manner

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly recorded and accounted for

Preparation of revenue and banking journals

Reconciliation of bank accounts

About You

You have proven experience in a similar Accounting role. In addition to your strong attention to detail and accuracy, you possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (TechnologyOne preferred). You take the initiative to learn, can prioritise workloads, and are an excellent team player.
