The Role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Lead to join our team. This unique role combines hands-on seafood preparation with leadership across our retail operations. You’ll take pride in filleting and preparing seafood to the highest standard, while also ensuring our front-of-house runs smoothly, stock is well managed, and customers receive the best possible experience.

What You’ll Do

● Fillet, clean and prepare fish with precision and consistency

● Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene, safety, and quality requirements

● Supervise product displays and deliver excellent customer service

● Monitor daily sales performance and seasonal targets

● Track and manage stock levels, ensuring correct storage, handling and rotation

What We’re Looking For

● Strong experience in seafood preparation, including filleting and cleaning fish

● Knowledge of the seafood industry; products, seasonality, and quality standards

● Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance

● Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food service operations

● Proven ability to manage stock and monitor sales

● Excellent communication and leadership skills

● Organised, proactive and committed to outstanding product quality
