About the role

Prompt Building Services' is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As an experienced carpenter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and completing roof repairs. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects.

What you'll be doing

Accurately follow directions from a registered builder.

Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing and basic roof plumbing

Use a range of hand and power tools to complete construction work

Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Assist with the supervision and mentoring of junior carpenters and apprentices

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified carpenter

Proven track record of delivering high-quality carpentry work

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent attention to detail and genuine commitment to safety

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
