Carpenter

Height Construction and Carpentry Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced framing carpenter. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years' experience and will be required to work with a team or on their own constructing timber roofs and frames, cladding and more.

Required skills and experience:

Main Tasks:

Analyzing a project's plans and determining the framework materials required.

Calculating and ordering materials and ensuring they meet requirements.

Cutting, shaping and assembling frame parts and joints

Installing, steel and timber roof trusses.

Laying subflooring and floorboards.

Repairing and installing fittings.

Fitting exterior wall cladding and fasciae.

Fitting internal wall panels and moldings.

Constructing non-load bearing/load-bearing internal and external partition walls.

Constructing and fitting doors, windows, floors and stairs.
