The Role
Leads and directs the operations of the Corporate Services Group to ensure outcomes identified in the Department's Strategic Plan and ongoing reform initiatives are achieved.
Leads the development and implementation of corporate policies, strategies and plans to ensure timely and effective achievement of the Department's strategies.
Provides oversight of Corporate Services functions, sets expectations, performance goals, standards and measures to form the basis for evaluation of effectiveness.
Drives delivery of appropriate, effective and efficient corporate governance, risk management frameworks and processes that shapes DPME’s culture, strengthens the department, its workforce and leadership, and its accountability and compliance with government policy.
Contributes to the ongoing strategic development and management of the Department as a member of the Department's Executive Leadership Group.
Provides trusted advice and informs the Director General and Corporate Executive on corporate services matters and related strategic and policy matters.
