About the role

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Financial Controller to join the team at Turnbull Motors Warragul Nissan Mitsubishi in Warragul, VIC. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the smooth running of our busy automotive dealership, with a focus on both office management and financial oversight.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing all administrative and financial operations of the dealership, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end reporting

Supervising and developing the administrative support team to ensure high levels of customer service and efficiency

Implementing effective office systems and procedures to streamline workflows

Preparing and analysing financial statements and budgets to support business decision-making

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies

Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business

What we're looking for

Substantial experience in a similar office management or financial controller role, ideally within the automotive or retail industry

Strong financial management skills with the ability to interpret and report on complex financial data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to manage, motivate, and develop a team

Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively

Proficient in the use of accounting software, Microsoft Office, and other office technology
