Custom Steel Fab is a proudly North Queensland owned and operated company, serving the North West for over 10 years and recently expanding into North East Queensland.

We’re currently seeking skilled and motivated Trade Assistants to join our Mount Isa Structural Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting skilled tradespeople on structural steel and construction tasks

Handling tools, materials, and general site preparation

Supporting installation and assembly of structural components

Ensuring site safety and cleanliness

Working in a team environment with opportunities to learn and grow

What We’re Looking For:

Previous construction or trade assistant experience preferred (but not essential)

Physically fit and able to handle manual labour

Punctual, motivated, and a strong team player

Current driver’s license and reliable transport preferred

Must be local to Mount Isa

What We Offer:

$40/hour – full-time
