About the role

THE PIEFATHER' is seeking an experienced Baker/Pastry Cook/Kitchen and cafe allrounder Hand to join our team in our Rosebery, NSW location. This is a casual role with the opportunity to work flexible hours. You will be responsible for the preparation and baking of a variety of high-quality pies, pastries and other baked goods to meet our customer demands.

A FULL TIME ROLE IS POSSIBLE TO THE RIGHT APPLICANT, some short weekend shifts will be required, please only apply if currently in Sydney.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a range of sweet and savoury pies, pastries and baked goods to our exacting standards

Assist with general kitchen duties such as cleaning, stock rotation and food preparation

Work closely with the senior staff to ensure consistent product quality and presentation

Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with food safety regulation

What we're looking for

At least 2 years' experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook or Kitchen Hand in a commercial bakery or kitchen environment

A passion for baking and creating high-quality baked goods

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently

Good communication and customer service skills

A keen eye for presentation and the ability to work as part of a team

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
