One Tree Defence Unit - Puckapunyal located near Seymour in Regional Victoria, is committed to providing an enriching and nurturing environment where children thrive. We adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on delivering high-quality educational programs that foster holistic development. We have placements for 86 children across our long day care. We have several rooms including pre kinder, nursery, toddler room, preschool and outside of school hours care. Our operating hours are 7 am to 6 pm.

What you’ll bring and do

• Strong advocacy for children and their inclusion
• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• A valid Working with Children Card
• A National Police Clearance
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to undertake Responsible person duties
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a mature approach
• Promote a positive organisational culture and professional learning community.
• Build a culture of professional inquiry with staff to develop professional knowledge and to critically reflect on their pedagogy and practice.
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children.
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to promote early learning and development
• Strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, EYLF & NQS
• Provide supervision and direction to reporting staff, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the service upheld to One Tree's standard.
