Daracon currently have the need for experienced a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team based at our Beresfield workshop on a permanent afternoon shift basis.

Up to $50 per hour plus 22.5% shift loading (depending on experience)

Guaranteed overtime

$2600 per year tool allowance

Permanent position Monday to Friday (2pm to midnight)

12 roster days per year

Working on a modern fleet of trucks and trailers in a modern workshop

To be considered for this opportunity you will have or possess:

Relevant motor vehicle tradesperson qualifications.

Demonstrated experience working within the road transport industry.

A MVRIC licence or can obtain.

Proven experience working within a team environment.

A strong commitment to a ‘safety first’ environment

Volvo truck, Auto Electrical or Hydraulic experience would be highly regarded.

Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers licence (HR or better) an advantage.

This role will see you reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and working with a highly motivated team.
