- Part-time (0.5 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis until June 2026, with a flexible roster.
- Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The RCSWA Academic Services team provides administration and support services to academic staff and students across the Rural Clinical School of WA. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement.
The RCSWA is part of the UWA Medical School, offers rural clinical training for students from the three WA medical schools (UWA, Curtin University and Notre Dame) spanning multiple sites across 3,500 km. RCSWA aims to enhance rural education, increase the rural medical workforce, and improve health outcomes in rural and remote Australia.
About the opportunity
- Provide administrative and logistic support to contribute to the efficient operation of the Esperance site
- Manage student housing and maintenance at your site
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and process development to improve on the experience of students and the retention of rural medical workforce.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency.
- Substantial administrative experience and proficiency in computing skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to high-quality customer service and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Note: The RCSWA spans multiple rural sites and an urban centre node. This position is required to be based at the Esperance site; therefore, applicants must be currently residing in Esperance, WA at the time of applying. A current National Police Clearance Certificate and Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
