Sustainable Infrastructure System (SIS) is a proud Australian manufacturer of world class GFRP [Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer] composite bridges, architectural panels and components for the defence and civil infrastructure sectors. Adelaide headquartered, we are global leaders in the design and manufacture of sustainable construction materials and are experiencing rapid growth through the drive to net zero across the Australian construction project sector.

We work on a diverse range of projects and are currently seeking a capable, dynamic and motivated Graduate Engineer [civil or structural], to join our team in Adelaide. You will have solid university results, or alternatively Site Engineering or Project Engineering experience with good references. You will be extremely well organised and driven to ensure projects are delivered without compromise. You will liase with clients, stakeholders, finance, production managers and project directors along each project journey.

You will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a good work ethic, optimistic outlook and high level of self motivation. Opportunities to progress within this fast growing company are available and encouraged for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients, suppliers, engineers, designers and stakeholders to assist in delivering project success.

Monitor Q/A and Q/C requirements as well as compliance with company policies and procedures.

Assist with project administration and contract compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer literacy skills [Microsoft Excel at a minimum].

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to read, understand and take-off engineering drawings.

The following would be highly regarded:

Experience with fabrication, contracts, drafting or project management.

Knowledge of GFRP.
