Sign Writer / Fabricator / Sign Installer – Pathway to Project Management

Sydney | Full-time

We’re working with a leading signage company that designs and builds custom signage for tier 1 builders, architects, and commercial clients across Australia. Projects range from national rollouts to custom architectural signage, combining design, fabrication, and installation.

This role is ideal for someone from a signage, fabrication, or sign installation background who’s ready to step into project management. You’ll work under an experienced Senior Project Manager, learning how to deliver projects from concept through to installation.

The role:
• Manage smaller signage projects from pricing through to delivery
• Support the Senior PM on large, high-profile projects
• Liaise with design, production, and installation teams daily
• Assist with quotes, budgets, scheduling, and progress tracking
• Coordinate site requirements, permits, and compliance documentation
• Learn project systems, processes, and client communication

Projects include:
• Retail and commercial signage for tier 1 builders
• Illuminated, vinyl, and engineered signage
• Corporate rebrands and wayfinding packages
• Custom architectural and outdoor structures

You’ll need:
• Hands-on signage experience (fabrication, install, or production)
• Mechanically minded with the ability to read and interpret drawings
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Desire to grow into a full Project Manager role
