About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Disability Support Worker in the Adelaide Hills to assist clients with domestic tasks, community access, and activities of daily living, while also supporting a small, locally owned business run by one of our clients. This role offers flexible hours in a supportive environment focused on empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and engage with their community.

Activities of daily living - therapy-led activities, hobbies, advocacy.

Mental Health Supports - Provide advocacy and support for the client and assist in creating a strong, supportive environment.

Community and Social Access - transport to and from medical/therapy appointments, social access, participation in activities that express personal interests

Domestic assistance - general tidying, meal preparation.

Duty of Care - maintain diligence throughout the shift to ensure the client is supported when needed.

About you

Availability across 7 days for shifts between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, as well as flexibility to work in the evenings if needed.

An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun while maintaining a client-centered focus.

A solid grasp of administrative practices and the aptitude to use technology effectively for tasks such as data entry, document management, and scheduling.

Passionate about supporting independence and providing in-home support.

Own a car and a driver's license.

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).

National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).
