Urban Floors Australia is an established and growing company specialising in decorative, commercial, and industrial concrete coatings - from garages to large-scale commercial projects.

We’re looking for a young, motivated, and reliable person to join our team as a Flooring Assistant. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to build a trade career.

You’ll work hands-on with experienced installers and receive full on-the-job training in all aspects of epoxy and decorative flooring installation.

What you’ll be doing:

assisting the team in all aspects of job preparation, installation and clean up

levelling, grinding and preparing the concrete substrate

Mixing materials including epoxy resin

Installing a range of finishes including decorative overlays, commercial & industrial coatings and flake floors

What we’re looking for:

This position will suit someone who:

Has a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine willingness to learn

Is physically fit, and ideally has experience using power tools or has worked in construction, landscaping, or similar hands-on roles

takes pride in delivering quality work

holds a current driver’s licence and has a reliable car

Lives within 30–40 minutes of Thomastown as our workdays start at 6am sharp

Works well in a small, supportive team environment
