They are now seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Brisbane-based finance team.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leaders, this role offers the chance to take ownership of a broad range of financial activities and support key operational and commercial outcomes. You’ll play an important role in ensuring accuracy across reporting and compliance, while helping to drive improvements in processes and performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reports
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Overseeing general ledger maintenance and transactional accuracy
• Managing intercompany accounts, GST, and compliance requirements
• Reviewing corporate expenditure and ensuring correct coding and treatment
• Preparing financial data to support internal and external audit processes
• Assisting with financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency

About You

You’re a motivated and organised accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You bring a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and a willingness to engage across teams to deliver accurate and meaningful results.

You’ll bring:

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or similar
• CA/CPA qualification (or currently studying towards it)
• Strong experience across month-end, reconciliations, and reporting
• Sound Excel skills and confidence with financial systems
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
