On offer here is a unique proposition to join one of Australia’s most highly awarded Insurance Law teams, in a role that covers a mix of defendant-side public liability, personal injury (non-VWA), dust diseases, high-end property damage claims, and recoveries work. The Property Damage matters coming through cover typical fire and water damage claims, as well as large-scale agricultural and industrial claims.

This is a great opportunity for an Insurance Lawyer who is looking for variety in their work, and an environment that fosters responsibility and autonomy to run your own files.

The team is made up of 3 Partners (all of whom are recognised in Best Lawyers), 4 Special Counsels, 5 Senior Associates and several Associates and Grads – and this role will be dual-reporting to 2 of the Partners, so there is a great level of resources and expertise for you to learn from here. There is a Secretary ratio of under 2.5:1, plus a great team of Paralegals to assist in getting through the work.

Aside from the typical Insurer and Lloyd’s of London clients, you will also be advising local and state government departments, major publicly listed self-insurers, transport groups, supermarkets, universities, allied-health groups and large infrastructure operators.
