About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Family Lawyer to join our dynamic team at The Family Lawyer in Glen Iris, VIC. As an Associate Family Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional legal services to our valued clients, specialising in all aspects of family law. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our well-established practice.

What you'll be doing

Advising clients on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and more

Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to build strong cases for our clients

Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court submissions

Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations

Collaborating with the legal team to ensure efficient and effective case management

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law legislation and case law

Providing exceptional client service and support throughout the legal process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a practising Family Lawyer

Excellent knowledge of family law, including legislation, case law, and court processes

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients

Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills, with a track record of successful client outcomes

Excellent legal research and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong time management and organisational skills

Commitment to providing exceptional client service

Requirements

Current Practicing Certificate

Admission to the High Court

Minimum 2 years of experience as a practising Family Lawyer
