About the role

Join the dynamic team at Be Kind Neuro Rehab Pty Ltd as a part-time Occupational Therapist in our Maroochydore, QLD location. As a key member of our allied health services, you'll play a vital role in providing tailored rehabilitation and support to our clients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs and goals

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans focused on improving functional abilities, daily living skills and independence

Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients

Educate clients, families and caregivers on strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation

Maintain meticulous client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a neurorehabilitation or community-based setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to deliver person-centred, goal-oriented therapy

Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development

Flexible, adaptable and collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
