About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced full-time cook and chef to join our team at The garden tandoori' in Goolwa, SA. As a Permanent Full Time Cook & Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking delicious Indian cuisine in our busy restaurant. This is a full-time position, with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Preparing high-quality Indian dishes to our exacting standards

Ensuring all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in a timely manner

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Assisting with menu planning and development

Training and supervising kitchen staff as required

Ordering and managing stock and inventory

Adhering to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant

Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques

Excellent food preparation and presentation skills

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts
