About the Role
The Reform and Innovation team works in genuine partnership with Aboriginal peoples and communities to shape policies and reforms that reflect their needs and aspirations. This role leads the management and analysis of key data assets delivering clear insights and visualisations for senior decision-makers. It involves ensuring data integrity, applying advanced analytical techniques, exploring innovative tools, and maintaining compliance.

We're Looking For
- Project management skills for developing and delivering technical and data projects that support the needs of the business.
- Strategic leadership in designing and delivering data assets and solutions that align with the Agency's objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills to support data sharing across government clusters and contribute to the development of intellectual property.
- Advanced analytical capabilities using appropriate software to manage complex datasets, ensure data quality, and extract insights that inform decision-making.
- Expertise in developing clear, impactful data visualisations and tools tailored for senior stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through research, innovation, and capacity-building initiatives, including support for Aboriginal data governance and Closing the Gap priorities.
- Strong understanding of the cultural considerations of working with Aboriginal data.
- Experience liaising with diverse stakeholders to develop suitable technical or data solutions for business and research problems and explaining complex data to non-technical users.
