Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Managing Director to review, monitor and implement Red Chair's Partnership Strategy, in alignment with Red Chair's Strategic Plan (2026 – 29), and with a focus on:
- retaining and growing current partners
- identifying and securing new partners
- fostering long-term support.
• Proactively identify, approach and secure partnership prospects to drive growth in partnership revenue.
• Lead fundraising campaigns including coordination of campaign tools (e.g. showreels, webpages, social tiles, donor portal, media releases).
• Work with Producer/s to plan and deliver partner attraction / retention events.
• Maintain existing partnerships in relation to DGR opportunities.
• Work with the Managing Director to prepare and deliver effective sponsor proposals and grant/funding applications, negotiation of contracts, fulfillment of partnership obligations and activations, acquittals and reporting.
• Participate in / attend local industry events across the region including events with key stakeholders/partners.
• Ensure Partnership targets and income (cash & inkind) are tracked and maintain an accurate database of current and prospective Partners.
• Work with Managing Director to establish and support Red Chair's Artistic Advisory Panel.
• Work across the organisation to support the development and implementation of new initiatives designed to increase corporate and government support.
• Represent Red Chair at company events, industry-wide functions and conferences as appropriate.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, specifically training and mentoring opportunities relating to partnerships, producing and community arts engagement.
• Act in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
• Respond positively to feedback in line with Company policies.
• Other duties as required from time to time.
Competencies (Required):
• Knowledge and experience within the arts and/or business sector
Entry level experience in the arts and/or business sector is acceptable for this position.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (arts administration, marketing, business/commerce) or demonstrated equivalent competency
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse people in busy public settings.
• Ability to exercise initiative, act autonomously & proactively identify opportunities and issues for decisive action.
Other Skills & Experience (Desirable):
• Experience in a similar position.
• Proven fundraising experience including identifying, approaching and securing new business opportunities
• National creative industries sector knowledge
