Burger Urge (BU) has been making delicious and juicy burgers on the border for over 5 years! We believe in making burgers the way they should be. We use premium local ingredients for our delicious, classic, and on-trend recipes.

We have now opened our Thurgoona location and we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Venue Manager (AVM) who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and driving a positive workplace culture. We don't want a clipboard manager - we want someone who is motivated, hardworking, and embraces change.

As our AVM, you will be responsible for leading a team of enthusiastic staff members and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will assist the Venue Manager & Franchisee in the daily operations of our restaurant, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining our facilities.

What are we seeking?

A minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management

Proven experience in motivating and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service

A track record of working towards KPI's and meeting financial targets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for driving change and continuous improvement

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

A hands-on and can-do attitude
