Are you passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces? We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Coordinator to support project delivery, routine maintenance, and minor capital works. This full-time backfill position plays a vital role in ensuring our operations meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Safety Coordinator, you will:

• Develop and implement Health & Safety Management Plans (H&SMPs)
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and verify risk management effectiveness
• Coordinate training requirements and ensure compliance
• Lead incident response and investigations
• Manage health and hygiene initiatives, ensuring health risks are mitigated
• Perform operational control checks, inspections, and verifications
• Oversee contractor safety management
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities
• Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement
• Manage injury cases and support return-to-work processes

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
• BWTM & TC qualifications
• Experience in collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testing
• White Card (or Blue Card if obtained prior to 2010)
• ICAM Lead Investigation certification

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to operate and maintain a 4WD vehicle
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
• Mobile Plant qualifications
