Salary Starting from $69,491
About the role
Responsible to the Supervisor Reserves for performing the tasks and duties assigned with the aim of achieving a high standard of presentation of the City's Reserves and Open Spaces.
Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Operate a variety of plant and equipment associated with the day to day maintenance of Council's facilities;
- Inspect structures and amenities and report any damage and hazards to the Supervisor promptly and make safe as instructed;
- Assist with any customer enquiries promptly, and project a helpful and positive image for the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder;
- Pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of all plant and equipment;
- Assist with construction projects and maintenance works as instructed;
- Implementation and maintenance of a safe working environment, promoting duty of care and a strong focus on safety;
Who we are Looking for:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Be able to work under limited supervision and within a team environment displaying strong work ethic;
- Demonstrated knowledge in the operation of various plant and equipment associated with reserves maintenance;
- Demonstrated knowledge of reserves maintenance procedures and principles;
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Current satisfactory National Police Clearance;
- Current WA "HR" or "MR" Class driver's license. (Desirable)
