About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Lead - Project Accounting, you'll work closely with project managers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. In addition to overseeing financial planning and budgeting cycles, you'll help maintain the integrity of financial systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyse, and deliver insightful financial and management reports.
• Oversee financial planning and budgeting activities - monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger systems and maintain robust financial controls.
• Provide business managers with financial data to inform decisions, integrating forecasts and analszing long-term trends.
• Manage statutory returns, compliance reports, and maintain strong audit trails.
• Contribute to long-term financial strategies and forecasts, considering market and economic conditions.
• Capitalize assets within the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policy.

About You:

• Qualifications: You hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA qualifications - or working towards certification - highly desirable).
• Experience: 5+ years in senior accounting roles, preferably within construction or infrastructure environments, with proven project accounting experience.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, liquidity forecasting, general ledger management, and Excel. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial insights across technical and non-technical teams.
• Mindset: A forward-thinking professional who thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments and has a collaborative approach.
