The Role & Your Diverse Practice
While your primary focus will be on complex Family Law and Intervention Order matters, this role offers fantastic breadth and variety to develop your skills across a range of practice areas, including:
Family Law (Divorce, Property, Parenting)
Intervention Orders (Applicants and Respondents)
Criminal Law Matters
Wills and Estate Planning
Core Responsibilities
Your day-to-day role will be dynamic and client-facing. You will be expected to:
Answer and convert new client enquiries (sales).
Draft comprehensive and complex court documents and correspondence.
Attend and advocate at mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) conferences.
Represent clients in court appearances and contested hearings.
Advise clients across all facets of family law and related practice areas.
Brief counsel and instruct at trials.
File management manage client files including client agreements, billing, invoicing and scheduling.
What You Will Bring
A minimum of 3 years Post Admission Experience in Family Law.
Exceptional drafting, advocacy, and communication skills.
A proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
