a role dedicated to precision, process, and delivering an exceptional experience for our doctors and healthcare partners.

As a Placement Specialist, you will have one-of-a-kind problems to solve in this dynamic role! You will have strong administration experience, a background in event planning, travel coordination, or hospitality, and love structure and processes. You crave order in your work and take pride in dotting all the 'i's' and crossing all the 't's' before going home for the day. You are also the type of person who can deal with a last-minute curve ball and re-prioritise your tasks to get whatever needs doing done.

Be based in our new, modern offices in Gold Coast, Australia or Queenstown, New Zealand, with hybrid work options available after initial training.

Your Role at Medrecruit

You’ll collaborate closely with our Recruitment Consultants to make every doctor’s placement seamless and successful by:

Coordinating complex travel and accommodation across multiple placements.

Managing credentialing and compliance documentation with accuracy and care.

Building meaningful relationships with hospitals, health services, and doctors.

Ensuring all records and paperwork meet legislative and regulatory standards.

Supporting administrative processes such as reference and police checks.

Every placement you touch helps a doctor do their best work — and contributes to better healthcare outcomes for communities across Australasia.

You’re the kind of person who finds satisfaction in making things run flawlessly. You love structure, are calm under pressure, and take pride in delivering excellence every day. You’ll ideally bring:

Proven experience in administration, travel coordination, hospitality, or events.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach to your work.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Tech-savviness and comfort learning new systems.

A tertiary qualification (preferred but not essential).
