Operations & Quality Manager - Waste/Water Industry
Yatala, QLD | Full-Time, Permanent | $120K-$160K + EPP

FindStaff is on the hunt for an exceptional Operations & Quality Manager to lead the charge for a world-class global client based in Yatala. If you're an experienced leader with a background in waste or water processing, this is your chance to join a game-changing team driving sustainable solutions and breakthrough innovation.

Hours & Remunertion

• Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm
  
• $120,000 - $160,000 - Salary negotiable based on experience (+ Super)
  
• Employee Participation Plan (EPP) included!
  

What You'll Do
Lab Operations & Quality

• Oversee daily lab operations and production runs
  
• Conduct advanced lab testing on biowaste streams
  
• Operate lab equipment to assess material content and waste stream quality
  
• Process waste into reusable fuels and fertilisers
  
• Deliver accurate feedstock samples and reporting
  

Process Engineering & Plant Ops

• Collaborate with internal and external engineers on design and commissioning
  
• Modify plant equipment to meet client and market needs
  
• Troubleshoot, maintain and optimise process machinery
  
• Ensure quality control procedures are always met to the highest standards
  

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years in process/plant engineering within waste-processing, bioenergy, or a related industry
• Mechanical engineer/Mechanical Fitter qualification with 3+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills & Project Management exp.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Australian Driver Licence
• Bonus Points For: Forklift Licence + P&ID/CAD experience
