Tanklogix is excited to present an opportunity in Adelaide's Inner South (Melrose Park) for a trade qualified boilermaker / welder. Tanklogix is leading manufacturer of Industrial Water Tanks, whilst also offering niche contract manufacturing services. We're inviting applications to join a compact and dynamic team in a modern, state-of-the-art workshop environment.

This small, efficient team is looking to fill a hands-on role, crucial to the smooth operation of the workshop.

About the Position:

This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced boilermaker to step into a first-class workshop role, executing predominantly light to medium fabrication work. The workshop is equipped with the latest machinery, air conditioning, and impeccable facilities.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will play a vital part in our workshop team. Your responsibilities will include executing projects with precision and ensuring that our workshop upholds the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Constructing commercial and fire water tanks.

Accurately interpreting engineering diagrams.

Managing material orders to ensure timely availability.

Maintaining a clean workshop and a well-stocked inventory.

Supporting team members, including newcomers and apprentices.

Aligning tasks with production objectives.

Crafting specialised parts as required.

Ensuring clear communication within the team for smooth operations.

Prioritising safety and regular maintenance in the workshop.

Occasionally performing on-site tasks.

Operating forklifts within the workshop.

Providing technical assistance and guidance on complex tasks.

Candidate Profile:

Trade qualification as a Boilermaker.

Forklift license (advantageous).

Current driver's license.

Exceptional teamwork and collaborative abilities.

Remuneration:

Compensation will be based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process with shortlisted candidates.
