Established in 2006, Hoys Allied Health is a successful family-owned provider of allied health services to the Coffs Harbour Community across five convenient locations. We have over 35 practitioners delivering Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, and Remedial Massage Services. Our Occupational Therapy team works with a diverse range of clients within both the NDIS (paediatrics and adults) and Aged Care sectors. Experienced occupational therapists are strongly encouraged to apply!

The Role

We are seeking a full time Occupational Therapist to join our established team of OTs. The role covers a varied caseload whereby you can choose the type of work you do! Options include; NDIS assessments, therapies, paediatrics, equipment prescription and home modifications.

The role involves a varied community caseload allowing you to undertake home visits throughout most days of the week.

Supporting various clients to meet their goals through a range of assessments such as equipment prescription, functional capacity evaluations, supported independent living assessments, and home safety assessments.

Responsibilities

Independently managing a diverse caseload.

Liaising with a variety of stakeholders to ensure effective service outcomes.

Completing a variety of assessments and reports.

Engaging in professional development opportunities and contributing to team in-services.

If desired, there is opportunities to provide 1:1 therapy to a paediatric caseload.

Essential Criteria

Appropriate tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy).

Current AHPRA registration.

Current Driver’s Licence.

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Professional Indemnity and public liability insurance cover.

Current Working with Children Check.

National Police Check (in the last 12 months).

Have the ability to liaise confidently with all stakeholders including clients, managers and other healthcare professionals
