We are actively seeking a Float Legal Assistant to join a leading Sydney firm. This is a standout opportunity for a versatile legal assistant to expand their skills, gain varied experience, and work on high-profile in a top-tier environment.

The role:

• Provide high-quality support across multiple practice areas
• Work with Partners and senior legal operatives alongside Senior support staff
• Assist with ongoing matter management including opening and closing new files
• Contribute to the billing functions of the team including e-billing, timesheets, cost estimates
• Draft and format documents, presentations, pitch materials, and slide packs accurately
• Offer leave cover for Senior legal support staff and obtain new skills
• Assist in organising firm events, client events, and staff activities

About you:

• 2+ years’ experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar administrative role
• Strong organisational skills
• The ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Contribute value to a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• A proactive and solution-focused way of working
• The desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team environment
