About the Safe & Together Institute
The Safe & Together Institute is a fully remote, family-friendly, social-impact enterprise dedicated to transforming how systems and professionals respond to domestic abuse in families with children.
We’re redefining the status quo—helping professionals keep children safe and together with protective parents by centering survivor safety, perpetrator accountability, and systemic responsibility. Our work, grounded in over 20 years of global practice and research, is trusted by governments and organizations across Australia, North America, and Europe.
We’re a values-driven, mission-first team that prizes curiosity, collaboration, and humility. We believe in showing up with empathy, working hard for meaningful change, and yes—appreciating a good dad joke now and then.
About the Role
As our new Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in bringing our mission to life through consistent, compelling storytelling and thoughtful campaign execution.
Reporting to the COO and working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll help plan, draft, and coordinate our monthly marketing activities across social media, email, and events. This is a hands-on role perfect for a detail-oriented, creative, and adaptable marketer ready to grow in a purpose-driven environment.
You’ll replace several contractor functions—bringing efficiency, ownership, and creativity to our in-house marketing operations. The ideal candidate combines an eye for design with strong copywriting skills, comfort using modern marketing tools, and a proactive, flexible mindset.
Some flexibility is required to collaborate with US-based colleagues during overlapping hours.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain the monthly social media and campaign schedule across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky).

1–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or content coordination role.
Demonstrated experience with Canva, Google Suite (including Analytics), HubSpot, and social media platforms.

Strong writing and editing skills—comfortable crafting short-form copy for digital audiences.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and learning mindset.
Comfortable working remotely and across time zones and cultures.

Experience in social-impact, education, or nonprofit sectors.
