We’re seeking a reliable and hands-on Field Technician to join our team on an ongoing basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The position offers stable, long-term work supporting key environmental and waste infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of leachate systems in line with equipment and site requirements
• Installation and maintenance of leachate management infrastructure
• Liaise with the Field Supervisor to optimise system performance and recirculation
• Schedule and conduct pump maintenance and leachate level measurement
• Coordinate contractors and general site maintenance tasks
• Report system issues in accordance with site safety procedures

About You

• Full QLD driver’s licence
• Experience in waste management, leachate, gas extraction, or pump systems (advantageous)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot pump issues
• Experience operating heavy machinery or holding relevant tickets (beneficial)
• High risk work licences (confined space, working at heights, forklift, rigging, dogging etc.) highly regarded
• Competent with Microsoft and Google Suite programs
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards
