Hiring Now – Experienced Field Staff (Field Scopers, Rod & Ropers, Pit Builders) - Multiple Roles

SIKAT COMMS is a family-run business delivering high-quality work in NBN infrastructure across South East Queensland. We specialise in survey, field scoping, and cable hauling—and we’re growing.

We’re currently looking for experienced individuals to join our team and help form 2–3 new field crews. These are hands-on roles, ideal for capable all-rounders who are comfortable working across multiple aspects of the NBN rollout.

What We Need:

We're looking for motivated team players with proven experience in NBN field work, particularly in:

Field Scoping (using digital plans and field software)

Rod & Rope / Blockage Repairs

Pit & Pipe Work – including removals and installs

Traffic Management (ticketed staff essential for crew setup)

We’re looking for people who can work well with others, follow job briefs, and get the job done safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Need:

Manual Driver’s Licence – essential

HR / MR Licence – advantageous

White Card

Traffic Management Ticket – highly desirable

Enable Accreditation – or willing to obtain

First Aid & CPR – advantageous

Positive attitude and solid communication

Previous experience in civil, comms, or utilities work preferred
