The Role:

Operate our vacuum excavator trucks & units to complete jobs (80% labouring, 20% truck driving)

Assist customers where possible

Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)

Routine vehicle maintenance & cleaning

Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner

Support other team members in solving problems and completing tasks

At times work outside of Canberra

Do on call/rostered work at night and on weekends when required

What you need to Succeed:

Experience as a vacuum excavator operator, not essential.

Be physically fit (job involves hard physical work)

Excellent organisation skills

The ability to prioritise tasks

Time management skills (punctual & reliable)

Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)

The ability to work independently and in a team environment

A passion for customer service

Excellent communication & language skills (phone manner etc)

Initiative to get jobs done and assist in solving problems that may arise
