About the role

RAR Cranes and Rigging is seeking experienced Crane Operators and Dogmen to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a Crane Operator or Dogman, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our construction projects across the region. What you'll be doing

Safely operate a variety of crane types to lift and position heavy loads on construction sites

Perform rigging and slinging duties, using appropriate equipment and techniques

Communicate effectively with the site team to coordinate crane movements and load handling

Conduct pre-operational checks and maintain detailed logbooks of crane activities

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies

Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced team members

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Crane Operator or Dogman in the construction industry

Valid high-risk work licences for the operation of relevant crane types

Strong understanding of safe crane and rigging practices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
