About the Role
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you’ll provide essential secretarial and administrative support within the Department of Geriatric & Rehabilitation Medicine. Working closely with the Administration Coordinator and clinical teams, you’ll manage confidential information, coordinate daily workloads, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth running of the department.
You’ll also play a key role in fostering teamwork and supporting colleagues by providing guidance on complex tasks, liaising with other hospital departments, and helping to prioritise work to meet the needs of staff and patients. This role offers the opportunity to be a central part of a dedicated team, making a meaningful contribution to patient care and the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
About You
You’re a motivated and skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality support and service to colleagues and clients.
About You:
Strong administrative skills with experience in Microsoft Office, office equipment, and confidentiality practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently.
Highly organised, able to prioritise multiple tasks, problem-solve, and adapt positively to change.
Competent in medical terminology, audio-typing, keyboarding (50–60 wpm), and committed to excellent customer service.
