About the job

This role will require you to live in the Pilbara. We can't help you with accommodation or moving expenses, & we can not offer support for working visas. It is a contractor role (not salary), paying hourly rates weekly.

We have positions available in & around Hedland, Wickham, Roebourne, Karratha, Tom Price & Onslow.

Qualifications & experience

Provide First Aid including CPR.

Drivers license & your own insured car.

Police clearance (Working With Children check is advantageous).

If you have honesty, integrity, & a caring nature, no other experience is necessary.

If you have higher, industry-related qualifications, you are encouraged to apply to discuss your options.

Tasks & responsibilities

Supporting disabled adults & children with daily living activities in their homes: It might be doing a load of laundry, preparing a meal, doing some dishes or general domestic cleaning. For some it might require a teaching or mentoring role, helping participants to develop skills so they can build their independence. For daily living services, most people need similar help every day.

Helping people get to & from appointments or social activities. It might be to the doctor, the post office, to a therapist, down to the shops, or out to the beach for some fishing. For social & community participation, clients will often be looking to do something different each service.
