Role Overview:
Completing the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to improved warehouse operations through critical thinking, initiative and organization
Ensuring that our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine and OH&S safety is maintained
Key Responsibilities:
INVENTORY & STOCK MANAGEMENT
Stock management across all areas of receiving, checking, processing, storing, picking, packing and shipping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory using warehouse management systems
Organize stock logically for accessibility, safety, and efficient picking
Perform routine stocktakes and cycle counts, addressing variances proactive
ORDER FULFILMENT & CUSTOM ASSEMBLY
Liaise with the sales and customer service team to prioritize urgent orders.
Ensure all items are securely packaged and properly documented for shipment.
Assemble trolleys, machines, and other fabricated components to meet customer order specifications.
Follow technical instructions, drawings, or verbal guidance to complete build tasks.
Use hand and basic power tools safely and effectively to perform minor fabrication or assembly work.
USE OF HANDTOOLS
Demonstrate strong competence with a range of hand tools (e.g., spanners, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, grinders).
Safely and efficiently complete tasks such as drilling, cutting, fastening, or fitting components.
Maintain and care for tools and equipment, reporting damage or maintenance needs promptly.
Troubleshoot build issues using a logical and methodical approach
CUSTOMER FOCUSSED SUPPORT
Ensure all orders—standard and custom—are delivered to the highest standard of accuracy and workmanship.
Liaise with sales or workshop teams to clarify or resolve technical aspects of builds.
Support fast turnaround of time-sensitive jobs while maintaining quality
Skills & Attributes:
Forklift License is essential (LF minimum) - you will not be considered without this
Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing with team leadership experience as well
Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and to ensure that the days work is complete before you leave
Proactive and efficient at problem solving and continuous improvement.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS)
Excellent computer and communication skills skills, particularly Microsoft office.
