Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Telecommunication/Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunication and security systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will work with both customers and internal teams to ensure that our systems are properly installed and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication and security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing solutions in a timely manner.

Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.

Provide on-site technical support and training for clients as required.

Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to meet customer needs and deadlines.

Requirements:

Australian resident.

Proven experience as a Telecommunication/Security Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems, CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

Experience with fiber optics, network cabling, and other telecommunication hardware.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Excellent customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in telecommunications, security systems, or network installation.

Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
