Due to continuous and steady growth, we are on the lookout for a full time Fire Systems Tester / Fire Service Technician.

*Please note: Applicants must hold the current licenses:
South Australian Fire Test and Inspection Registration, Certificate 2.
South Australian Driver's License.
White Card (Construction Card).
Day to day duties will include servicing, maintenance and repairs of (where qualified):
- Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose Reels & Fire Blankets.
- Fire Indicator Panels, Detection and Emergency Warning Systems.
- Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants & Boosters.
- Fire Pumps and Fire Water Tanks.
- Exit & Emergency Lighting.
- Fire Doors, Paths of Egress & Compartmentation.
Minimum (Essential) Requirements are:
- A Completed Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspecting and Testing (CPP20511) or the minimum 7 units that are required for South Australian General ‘test and inspect’ registration.
- Availability from Monday to Friday during normal working hours.
- A Driver’s License.
- Be reliable, punctual, well presented, have great communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work alone unsupervised, as well as in a team.
- A current National Police Check.
- A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one during probationary period).
Desirable Skills / Attributes:
- A good / sound understanding of Australian Standard 1851.
- Experience in testing a variety of different Fire Equipment, including different types of Fire alarm and Fire Suppression Systems.
The Chosen Candidate will receive:

Hourly rate will be determined and offered based on the skills and experience of the chosen candidate.

Please note that you may be required, from time to time, to assist in an on-call roster for breakdowns / emergency client assistance outside normal working hours. There is flexibility available for being on-call and it will be properly renumerated. This can be discussed further during the interview process.
This role may also require some occasional away work / travel. This can also be discussed and be flexible amongst the team.
