Adeona Mackay is currently seeking an innovative, passionate and enthusiastic Senior Educator to join our team in 2026.

We are seeking someone to work 4 or 5 days a week and must be available for open and/or close shifts.

Must hold a Diploma of Early Childhood.

Adeona Mackay is a unique play-based, privately owned long daycare centre in Mackay. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care. This position aims to work well within the visionary team that already exists at Adeona, to create quality, happy and safe environments for the children and the families who attend our service.

Some of the duties and responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to, the following;

Positive role modelling and behaviour management

Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework

General cleaning duties

Nappy changing and participating in routine times.

Participating in staff meetings and Professional Development sessions

Ability to use initiative

Engaging in reflective practice and positive change

Supervision of children at all times

Observations of children to supplement documentation
