Koombana Physiotherapy is looking for a new graduate physiotherapist to join the team in 2026.

We are a vibrant, growing practice that has been serving the people of Bunbury and the South West since 1990. We have a strong focus on manual therapy, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation and Pilates and we also provide the services of post graduate qualified Pelvic Health and Sports Physiotherapists.

Starting out as a newly qualified physiotherapist can be an exciting, but daunting time, especially in the world of private practice. We believe that it is our responsibility to provide new graduates with the support they need to thrive, so that they fall in love with their profession and become exceptional physiotherapists.

The key aspects of our new graduate position are:

One-on-one, weekly mentoring sessions, specifically to revise and expand on hands-on assessment and treatment techniques.

One-on-one weekly mentoring sessions discussing the clinical management of patients.

Monthly PD sessions with all of the physiotherapy team.

A salary commensurate with a new graduate position in the public hospital system, without any bonus or incentive structures related to patient numbers. You are here to learn first and foremost.

Adequate time to think, revise and learn between appointments. We start new graduates on longer appointment times until they are ready.

Flexibility around hours of work, to encourage a fantastic work/life balance and allow you to be involved in our community and enjoy all that the South West has to offer!

$1000 per annum external PD allowance, which can be increased for new graduates needing to up-skill quickly in certain areas.

Your caseload will comprise mainly of musculoskeletal patients. Your time will be spent at our purpose built brand new physiotherapy clinic right in the heart of Bunbury, with treatment rooms, rehab gym, dedicated pilates studio and ample common staff space including a sun drenched courtyard and rear balcony . There is also the opportunity to do some onsite corporate health work with larger local Bunbury businesses. Our team consists of 11 other physiotherapists with a wide range of experience and skills, all happy to support and mentor each other when needed. You will also be supported by our amazing reception team, who are without doubt the best in the business!
